Our youth football program is for children ages 5-13 and our youth cheerleading program is for children ages 4-14. We have a Inter League Program which focuses on developmental skills and a Division One Travel Program. All cheerleading squads compete in the UYFC Cheerleading Competition.
Rockdale Youth Football Association is happy to announce our new “Flag Football League for Children with Special Needs” ages 5-21 beginning this fall.
Also new for 2009 in addition to our four Division One UYFC Travel teams we will have two (ages 7-8 and 9-10) Unlimited Weight Division One Travel teams.
Congratulations to our U8 Bulldogs they are the 2009 World League Championship Winners! Go Dogs!
Below is the schedule for the Interleague Championship Games which will be on Saturday, November 21, 2009.
FIELD 1
Titans vs. Steelers 10:00 a.m.
Raiders vs. Bucs 12:00 p.m.
Chargers vs. Dolphins 2:00 p.m.
All of our squads did so good at competition we are so proud of all of the girls. The parents also deserve a big THANKS for running them to all the extra practices, paying for all the extras that come with doing competition and for all the cheering you’ll did at competition.

A very special thanks to Jason Yaber for donating the Subway subs, chips and drinks for all 5 squads. These took a lot of stress off of the team moms. Jason owns a Subway off Moreland Ave so if you are every in that area stop by and show him some support.

2009 Hometown Holiday Parade
RYFA will be participating in the Hometown Holiday Parade in Old Town Conyers on December 5, 2009. We would like all the football players and cheerleaders to come out participate in the parade. The football players should wear their jerseys (D1 players we will have Jerseys for you to wear) and the cheerleaders should wear their RYFA warm up suit. We will meet at Rockdale High School at 3:30. The theme for our park is a "Winter Wonderland" we will need to decorate a few trucks and trailers for the parade so if you are a creative person and would like to volunteer to help with this task please send your contact information to rozritch@yahoo.com . If your child was on the homecoming court please have them wear their sashes and Mr. & Miss RYFA should wear their crowns.
