RVC: Coaches

Our Coaches are paid coaches who have been established within the volleyball community and have proven to maintain a high level of coaching skill.  Our coaches are required to continue certifications and training in volleyball coaching programs in order to participate with RVC.  Any interested coach must go through a review process by the RVC Exective Board and must have a backgroud check prior to participation as mandated by our sanctioning bodies.  Coaches are not placed for a particluar team until after tryouts are complete:

Manh Duong

Manh Duong enjoys playing and coaching volleyball. He enjoys seeing young athlete's succeed and grow within the sport of volleyball. His career began in 2000 coaching 16's and again in 2002, and he assisted in 2006. In 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2008, he coached the 14's. In 2005 and again 2007 he coached the 18's. In 2009, 2010 and 2011 he coached the 15's. His career includes Club and high schools in Indian River and St. Lucie counties. He is moving in to his 12th year of coaching. He has three daughters who have been involved in volleyball most of their life.

 

Kelly Moriarty

 Kelly played on the Vero Beach High School Varsity team for four years. She has assisted at various Volleyball camps and clinics and has received her Coaching Impact Certification..  Kelly was an active club volleyball player with both IRJVC and Rivers Volleyball Club for nine years beginning in the fourth grade.  Kelly was an assistant coach for RVC in 2013 and became the Head Coach for Storm Grove Middle School Volleyball in 2013.
