RUN & SHOOT IS RE-ESTABLISHED

In January 1997 "Run & Shoot" officially began playing flag football in Northboro. Up until 2003, Run & Shoot's roster was mostly comprised of players from eastern Massachusetts with a couple of current members of the "Run & Shoot" team participating. In 2003 the squad was revamped and added were former college players with ties to Central Massachusetts. "Run & Shoot" found immediate success and continue to participate in local flag leagues and tournaments. "Run & Shoot" also enjoys a close partnership with the "Clinton Irish Blizzard". The "Irish Blizzard" is a central Mass. organization competing in the Eastern Football League, a New England semi-professional football league. The Irish Blizzard organization is made up of players from all over New England.

Run & Shoot dominated the regular season and carried a perfect 8-0 record into the playoffs. After a hard fought semi-final win, #1 seed Run & Shoot was upended by #2 seed Advanced Energy in a rematch of an early season game won by R&S.

Run & Shoot put together maybe it's finest season to date as it captured another indoor championship with a perfect 11-0 season. Run & Shoot erased a 30-12 2nd half deficit in the championship game to complete their perfect season with a 36-30 victory in that final game.
