2007 Rio Calaveras Crab Feed
Come on out and support the league at the 2nd Annual Rio Calaveras Crab Feed on January 13,2007. Admission to this event will be $35.00 per ticket. Only 200 tickets will be available. It will be held at the Karl Ross Post 2020 Plymouth Road near I-5 and Country Club Blvd.
Saturday, July 8
Rio Juniors finish in 4th place in All Stars and Minors win again!
The Juniors lost 11-4 to Hoover Tyler. The Minors won over Pioneer 6-3. Next up for the Minors will be Western. Good luck Minors keep it going!
Tuesday, July 4
Rio wins again in the Junior All Stars and Minor All Stars win also.
Rio Juniors won their game over Morada with score of 7-4. The Rio Minors beat Delta 14-2. This means we are still in this. Next up for the Juniors on Wednesday it will be the winner of Sunrise Vs. Hoover Tyler. That game is still in the 10th inning! And on Thursday the Minors they will be facing Pioneer. Good luck to both teams and see you there.

Rio wins in both Junior and Major All Star games
The Rio Juniors beat Pioneer 16-15. It was a real nail biter all the way. Neither team wanted to give this one up. The Rio Majors beat Southern 9-6. Way to go Rio and thanks a lot to all who could attend. Next up for the Juniors is Morada and for the Majors it will be Sunrise.

All Star Tournament begins on July 1st
Junior Division All Star Tournament will be held at Bear Creek. Due to changes in the bracket the game schedule will be posted on Wednesday June 28th.

Rio Calaveras Juniors finish in 3rd place in T.O.C's
After that World Series type of game on Wednesday against Western, Rio couldn't rally back in the game against Hoover Tyler with final being 23-8.
Wednesday, June 21
Rio almost takes it in the 7th against Western 4-3.
This is what kind of excitement a Junior Division Game can bring. At the bottom of the 7th the score began at 4-0 with Western in the lead. Rio came out and started a rally scoring 3 runs while getting bases loaded bringing Mike Kester to the plate. Matt Graff the runner at 3rd attempted to steal home but the umpire called strike three making the final Western 4 Rio 3. What an awesome finish. Its never over!!!
