Reschedule & Rainout Procedures

In order to develop a uniform method and manner of rescheduling of games due to school functions and rainouts the following procedures shall be employed:

1)Rescheduling of games shall be determined by the division president

2)Games shall be rescheduled if a team cannot field a team of nine due to a legitimate school function. Legitimate school functions shall include major dances, concerts, plays, strawberry festivals and graduations.

3)Rescheduling times are as follows:

Thursday-7:00 major (if available), 6:00 all other divisions

Saturday-5:30 all divisions

Sunday-12:30, 3:00, 5:30 all divisions

Rainout games shall be rescheduled to the next available rescheduling time slot.

Rescheduled games shall be played within one week of the original scheduled game date. If the teams are unable to agree on an available time slot, the division president shall assign the next available game slot. When requesting rescheduling, managers shall provide the division president with a date acceptable to both team within the allowable rescheduling time.

4)In the event of a forfeit, the non-forfeiting team need not be at the field ready and able to field a team. In the event that it is determined that a team has mislead another team or the division president about its ability or inability to field a team, that team shall take the forfeit.
