College Prep Meeting with Varsity Student Institute
The meeting with Scott Brayton of Varsity Student Institute (VSI) has been scheduled:
Sunday, April 19th from 7-9pm at the South Hill Library
15420 Meridian E, Puyallup, WA 98375
(between 152nd and 160th on the west side of Meridian, next to Dairy Queen)
Please RSVP to Darin by email.
This meeting with provide more insight on what it will take to be a collegiate athlete. Pat Klein has touched on a lot of this recently. We are trying to present as much information as possible to help you and your son with his progression.
The website for this product is go-vsi.com. It would be good to review this site prior to attending the meeting.
It would be optimal if the player and at least one parent could attend. It is open to each member of our team (players and families). If you have someone else that might be interested in attending, please run it past me first.
You should bring a pad/paper/pen. The reason we are hosting this meeting is Scott will release a lot of valuable information during the meeting and you should make note of it.
There is no cost or obligation. But... Scott does sell a service. I've heard it's not a high-pressure pitch. If it were just a pitch with no value to be gleaned, I wouldn't host it. Like I mentioned above, Scott will give you a lot of valuable information and in the context of our meeting, it's FREE. If you feel his services are worthwhile, please feel free to take him up on it. Again, there is no obligation or expectations and there are certainly no kick-backs to our team or coaches for Scott's services (in case you were wondering).
There was a wonderful offering of food at our recent team meeting. It would be great if you could do this again - thanks in advance!
Looking forward to seeing you all at this event! Coach Darin
