LEAGUE OPENING JAMBOREE
The league's opening Jamboree is scheduled for August 26th, 2006 at RD Keene Park in Orlando. Orange County will host the event from 9:20 - 2:30
Details:
2006 U12 Jamboree, August 26th, 2006
• Eight Teams (Play 8v8 or what ever number seems most suitable)
• Teams are semi-randomly selected while trying to populate each team with at least one player from each league team.
• Each Team will be assigned an adult “councilor” (we could rotate councilors?)
• Each Team will coach themselves (minimal adult intervention)
• Each Team will keep statistics
• Each Team will be provided with a stop watch and shall assure all players play equally
• All games will be 20 minutes, substitutions are on the fly.
• Each group of players shall select among themselves a “sportsman of the tournament”, who demonstrated fair play, hard work, desire, positive leadership, focus, a love for the game and respect for his team mates and opponents.
• Cheering is required.

Preliminary Schedule Emailed Out
On 6/27, a preliminary schedule was emailed to all teams for their review. Please let Ken Cornell you have received the draft.
On August 27th we will have our pre-season Jamboree for all teams. Orange County will host this event.
Additionally, an organizational meeting on August 27th will be held prior to the Jamboree. All teams should have coaches/managers present.
