As this meet continues to grow, they did a great job allowing more entries than ever before.  Under some pretty warm skies, we witnessed some incredible efforts that will definately make us alter our Top Marks List for 2009! 

Vista Murrieta's Nick Ross is making a claim against Mr. Wyatt for that Athlete of the Year award!  He just missed clearing 7'3" in winning the high jump @ 6'11" while FLYING to 23'8" and 49'4" personal bests in the long and triple jumps, respectively!   We're talking about one of the finest single days in Riverside County history!  Meanwhile, Rancho Verde's Alycia Herring continues to impress.  A nice 19'5" efforts in the long jump only complimented by her 24.53 victory in the 200m over teammate Asiah Gooden at 24.60!   And watch out as FRESHMAN Bernard Quinn of Vista Murrieta gave Elsinore Kenny Jackson everything he could handle in taking 2nd place, 21.66 - 21.85!  (We have a strong suspicion that his 21.85 has to be a 9th grade county record)
