bruinsbaseball: 2013 High School Season Divisions
The 9/10 Division consists of freshman and sophomore players. Playing in this division provides transition into the high school baseball program. The Freshman-Sophomore (9/10) game schedule often consists of double headers, with players on the 9/10 teams potentially playing in either game as determined by the coaches. The 9/10 Green and Gold designation allows the tracking of scores and statistics from each game of the double-header. The combined 9/10 team page is for combining stats from all 9/10 games.
RBHS Varsity
Competing at the varsity level prepares many high school students and future college recruits for the challenges and rigor involved in being a student athlete, where physical and mental toughness is essential. The off-season training implemented in 2007 by Coach Towe and his staff is just one of several ways they are preparing the RBHS Varsity baseball team to compete in Class 4, District 10 play. In addition to a game schedule which includes other quality high school teams across the state, Rock Bridge's district games include those with Helias, Hickman, Jefferson City and Smith-Cotton. Players interested in playing baseball at a college level are encouraged to discuss their development and opportunties with Coach Towe.
RBHS JV
Playing at the junior varsity level allows players to continue to develop skills and prepare for more advanced competition. Players on the Junior Varsity team may also compete at the varsity level as determined by the coaches and on a game by game basis.
