Majors division changes to "Ozone" for the 2011 Season
Beginning this season the RBDY Board voted to change from "Traditional" rules in the Majors division (11/12) to "Ozone" rules.
Some rule differences between the two is that Ozone allows the use of big barrel bats, bases will be 70ft apart instead of 60ft, and the pitcher will pitch from a distance of 50 ft instead of 46ft. Bases will also be "open" meaning that runners will be allowed to steal while the pitcher is in possesion of the ball.
