Queensbury Lacrosse Club
About the Queensbury Lacrosse Club: The Queensbury Lacrosse Club is a youth lacrosse club for boys in grades 3-8. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the United States. It is a fast paced team sport. This gives all of the players a chance to contribute to the game. The Queensbury Lacrosse Club welcomes new players in all grade levels. Our season starts the week of April 12th and ends at the end of June. We practice and/or play games on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We are part of the Capital District Youth Lacrosse League (CDYLL) and US Lacrosse. Some travelling is involved for our away games. The program is offered by the Queensbury Lacrosse Club and is managed and administered by volunteers (coaches are needed). Participants are taught basic skills and concepts (team and individual). Teams will be formed within the club for boys in grades 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 and will compete against other area teams. A limited amount of equipment is available for use ($30 Fee, $150 deposit required).

Registration: Will be on-line at queensburylacrosseclub.org, starting 2/1/10. There is a $10.25 service charge for registering on-line. The $10.25 service charge will be refunded by the Queensbury Lacosse Club. Players will also be able to register at the Parents/Player meeting scheduled for March 17th, and at registration events at the Aviation Mall (see below). Financial Aid: The club can give a discounted fee to families with financial need. Please contact Adam Orr, Queensbury Lacrosse Club Director, by email (see above). Note: A Parent/Player/Registration meeting will be held on March 17, 2010 from 7pm - 8pm in the Queensbury High School Cafeteria. Note: Schedules and rosters for each team will be distributed the first week of practice.
