TEN MINUTE RULE

This rule is to be used when there is a limited time to complete a match. At 10 minutes prior to the end time of the court, whoever is ahead by 2 or more games will be declared the winner of that set. However, if at that time, a team is down one game, they will have the opportunity to tie the set score. If they do tie, regardless of the set score, a 12-point tiebreaker will be played immediately to determine the winner of the set. If they do not tie the set score, the team ahead by 2 is declared the winner of the set. You win your court if: you are ahead by 2 games or winner of the tiebreak (1st set), you are ahead by 2 games or winner of the tiebreak (2nd set) and have won the first set, you have split sets and win the match tiebreaker.
