Premier Gym and Cheer Instructors

Premier Gym and Cheer offers well rounded ADULT Cheerleading AND Gymnastics instructors that will help instruct any level of child to the best of their abilities!! Each and every class is guaranteed safety certified instructors. We take pride in supplying knowledgeable and experienced instructors that create a nurturing atmosphere that will make your child's athletic experience one to remember!!!!


Karen Krieger (Owner/Instructor)

Ms. Karen is the owner and an instructor at Premier Gym and Cheer. She lives in the South Hills with her husband, Geoffrey and her two boys Michael and Matthew. Ms. Karen graduated from Baldwin High School where she was a 3 time MVP, team captain and BHS Hall of Fame inductee for the sport of gymnastics. She continued her gymnastics career at Lock Haven University under an athletic scholarship. After a career ending knee injury, she completed her Elementary Education degree at Point Park College. With 30 years of gymnastics experience, she has what it takes to produce champions.   

She fullfilled her childhood dream of coaching right out of highschool by coaching at a Pgh. area dance academy and at Baldwin High School. At the dance academy, she instructed and choreographed routines for children of all ages and ability levels. Her routines earned many National and High Score Titles. "To see the excitement in a child's eyes when they learn a new skill or when they perform to the best of their ability makes every minute of coaching worth it!"    At Baldwin, she continues to work with athletes 9th grade- 12th grade. Ms. Karen worked for the dance academy for 9 years and still maintains her coaching status at Baldwin. Ms. Karen has also spent the last 8 years coaching cheerleaders in: backhandsprings, roundoff backhandspring, and    multiple twists.   "To see an athlete work for and achieve a skill they never thought possible is what coaching is all about." Ms. Karen has worked with cheer squads from T.J., Baldwin, West Mifflen, Keystone Oaks, Brentwood,Bethel Park, St. Elizabeth, South Park, Elizabeth Forward, and other area all-star squads.

Ms. Karen's teams, squads and individuals have earned many regional, state, WPIAL and National Titles. In response to those honors, she was asked to coach the national high school gymnastics team. Some of her students have used their gymnastic / cheerleading skills to earn college scholarships. Ms. Karen has also received many outstanding achievement awards from the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, state senate, South Hills Record and the Post-Gazette for her coaching honors.

Ms. Karen has her act 34 clearance. She is also safety, first aid and CPR certified.

Ms. Karen is a strong believer in good sportsmanship and high morals. She believes in the fact that, "Every child has it in them to be a champion; it's up to the positive influence of the right coach and the strong determination and will from the athlete to produce that positive outcome."







Ms. Jodi (Head Gymnastics/Tumbling Instructor)

Ms. Jodi is a well known gymnastics coach within the WPIAL and STATE gymnastics program. She is th assistant coach of the 9 time state champion Baldwin Gymnastics program. Ms. Jodi has experience spotting elite tumbling/gymnastics skills. In High School Ms. Jodi was a four time state champion. She knows what it takes to get any child to progress!Ms. Jodi has an extensive backround in working with pre-schoolers - high school level gymnasts.

Ms. Jodi graduated from Penn State in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Business Management.








Ms. Bree (Instructor Gymnastics/Tumbling/Head Cheer Instructor)

Ms. Bree is a safety certified gymnastics and cheerleading instructor. With 10 years of coaching under her belt, she has what it takes to take YOUR child to that next level. Ms. Bree has that special touch that makes each and every child feel special in their own way.

Ms. Bree currently attends the University of Pittsburgh where she is working to obtain her Engineering Degree.






Ms. Lindsey (Instructor Tumbling/Gymnastics/Cheer)

Lindsey is a tumbling / gymnastics / cheer instuctor at Premier Gym and Cheer. Her duties include, head instruction of tumbling (privates and group), head instructor of our K-4th grade gymnastics program (soon to come), and assistant instructor of our Pee-Wee Elite Cheer Squad.

Lindsey has had 9 year of gymnastics experience. During those 9 years she has earned 2 state titles, 5 runner-up state titles and has led her team to many WPIAL, state and section titles. Her senior year she was team captian and MVP.

Lindsey currently attended California State University where completed her Elementary Education Degree. Ms. Lindsey is currently a first grade teacher in the West Jefferson Hills School District.

Lindsey has 8 years of coaching under her belt. Lindsey's soft yet encouraging personality is what makes her an asset to our program. Lindsey also has had the experience of being head instructor at Munchkin University, where she supervised and instructed students ages 6 months through 5 years. Lindsey has her act 34 clearance and is cpr certified.

Lindsey states that "Coaching is truly a fun job. There is nothing better than watching the girls work so hard and then seeing their happiness when they finally make a new trick. Not only that, I never thought back in third grade that I would go as far or become the gymnast that I did! Coaching constantly takes me back to all those great days that I'll never forget!"

Lindsey's motto: "Believe in your dreams and your dreams can become your reality."








Ms. Becky (Head Pre-school / Kindernastics Instructor, Gymnastics and Tumbling)


Ms.Becky has 15 years of gymnastics experience. She was a state and WPIAL champion gymnast in her high school years. Ms. Becky is also a WPIAL and STATE certified Gymnastics Judge. Ms. Becky has been coaching in our community since 1995.   She is a asset to our program because when she is coaching her pure love for gymnastics and children just shine right through.

Ms. Becky is a graduated of Duquesne University with a major of Accounting.

Ms. Becky is safety certified, CPR certified and First Aid ceritfied.





Ms. Mary (Head Gymnastics Instructor)

Ms. Mary is a gymnastic instructor at Premier Gym and Cheer. She lives in the Jefferson Hills with her husband, Kevin. Ms. Mary started gymnastics when she was 5 and continued through high school competing for 10 years with USAG and 2 years with Baldwin High School. While competing for USAG, she was a Level 6 State Champion and a Level 9 Regional and National Qualifier. Ms. Mary graduated from Baldwin High School where she was a 2-time MVP, team captain, and Hall of Fame inductee for the sport of gymnastics both individually and with her team. She was a 2-time WPIAL All Around Champion, a PA Classic Uneven Bars Champion, and a member of two WPIAL and State Championship teams. Ms. Mary graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. She then received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University. She currently works at Eastman Chemical Company in West Elizabeth.



Ms. Mary started coaching when she was in high school and coached for 8 years. After a few years away from the sport, she returned to coaching at Premier and has been a gymnastics coach for the recreational and competitive programs for the last three years. She is also a PIAA Official for the sport of gymnastics judging both youth and high school meets.





Ms. Leah (Head Cheer Instructor/Choreographer/Hip-Hop Instructor)




Ms. Robin

Ms. Robin has 8 years of cheerleading experience. She has been a Pink Panther Cheerleader for the past four years. Two of those years she was voted team captain. During those four years she was a valuable part of the teams first National Title as well as being a Pro-Bowl nominee three years in a row. The best part of working at Premier is the " warm, friendle feeling in the gym. I love the joy a student feels when they finally learn a new trick. It's exciting to watch in a parents eyes when their child learns a new skill. There is not one class that goes by that I don't put my heart, confidence and determination into. I'd like to thank all the students and parents at Premier for your cooperation and support throughout my coaching years. It means alot."






Ms. Kristie (Cheer Choreoghrapher/ Tumble/Cheer Instructor)

This is Ms. Kristie's second year as an instructor at Premier. Her dutites include: assistant tumbling / gymnastics instructor, choreographer, and assistant cheer instructor. Kristie has 6 years of high school / all-star competition experience. Kristie has received many individual honors, as well as team national honors. Kristie has been requested by several youth , middle and all-star programs for her outstanding and unique choreography. Her squad routines consistantly place first in competitions. "I love to see my routines out on the floor and see the excitement in the girls eyes as they peform their routine."

Ms. Kristie has had many opportunities as a cheerleader. She has been invited to perform at the Hawaii Pro Bowl, Macy's Day parade and to be an instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA).

Ms. Kristie "Enjoys taking her cheerleading / gymnastics skills to the next level of instructing students. My greatest satisfaction comes from watching my squads and students do well at competitions." Ms. Kristie's goal is to "Work each student to the highest level of their potential."
