Premier Anglers Finish 9th
Cambridge City, IN – Premier Anglers B.A.S.S. Club based out of Cambridge City competed in the BASS Federation Nation Top 8 tournament on Brookville Lake May 30-31. Competing in their 4th season, the club managed 9th place in the team standings and had 6 participants in the top 100. 180 competitors battled the pleasure boaters and each other to make for tough conditions, and Jordan Burdette finished strong on Sunday to lead the club with a 33rd place finish. Brad Bonwell led the club on Saturday but ran into trouble on Sunday to finish in 49th place. 2008 State team qualifier Eric Burdette finished in 75th place, Shawn Earl(84th), Arnold Worthington(85th) and Spencer Worthington(95th) round out the top 100 finishers. Pee Wee Sherwood(105th) and Randall McGuire(165th) round out the members of the Club.
The club returns to their local series on the Ohio River on June 20th.
