Come and join the fun and festivities of the 6th Annual PST
League Tournament. There will be Home run contest
and Base Running Contest, 1st and 2nd place trophies
this all kicks off Friday night at the Kernels stadium for
PST Night at the ballpark.
$275.00 Entry, $150.00 Gate Fee

PST is proud to announce new Chief Umpiresfor the 2012 season

Scott has always supported the league by umpiring, working league tournaments and supporting our very own Cyndy Staton. Scott is one of the finest umpires in the Cedar Rapids area and now he will pass his knowledge on to our Jr. Umpires and beginning adult umpires as well.
Chief Umpire "Master Scheduler"
Sandy is one of the most detailed people we know and with her computer background she will introduce a new scheduling software to the league. Sandy will be scheduling up to 1500 games this year and we are anxious to see the new online scheduler in action!

approves Umpire Pay increase

PST approves a pay increase for certified umpires for the 2012 season. Umpires who travel or work 2 hour games will get additional pay. PST President Jim Lizarraga proposed the new pay increase saying. . .
Umpires have not seen a rate increase in 2 years, it is time we showed our umpires how much we appreciate what they do for the league ~ J.Lizarraga
NEW RATES FOR 2012
8u-12u
1 certified alone single game - $40.00
1 certified alone double header - $80.00
2 certified single game - $35.00 to each
2 certified double header - $70.00 to each
13u-14u-2 Hour games - 2 Umpires Required
2 Certified single game-$40 to each
2 Certified double header $80 to each
Umpires working 2 hour games shall receive an additional $5.00ea
