Portland Little League Philosophy

Portland Little League is a volunteer organization supervised and assisted by parents and other adults who want to extend the benefits of organized competitive baseball to the youth in their community. It is geared to provide healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary to promoting the ideals of good sportsmanship and team play.
