- Take Rt 66 East turn right on to CT 151 South at Cobalt Center.
- Follow RT 151 to Rt 196 Take a right on RT196.
- Proceed to intersection of Rt196 and Rt149/151 and take a left.
- Continue on 149 for a half mile and take a right on to Plains Road (Town Street).
- After approximately a 1/2 mile take a left on to Joe Williams Road.
- East Haddam Elementary School is at end of road (after stop sign).
- Fields on left.

* Route 9 south.
* Take exit 7.
* At stop sign, turn left onto Route 154 north
* At first light, turn right onto route 82 east.
* Turn left onto route 151 north.
* Turn left onto School Drive.
* High School is at the top of the hill.
