No try outs are required. Kids as old as 10 may play in this division if they need to develop basic skills.

Coaches also increase their focus of instruction on developing throwing and catching fundamentals in preparation for a player pitching in the Minors AA division.

Minors AA
Typical Ages 8-9. This is an Instructional/Competitive Division. Score will be kept.
Ages listed are typical, but the league reserves the right to place your child in the proper division based on his/her skills.
Very advanced 7yr olds will be considered for this division, but they must have at least 1 year of Minor A (Coach Pitch) experience and be ready to advance to this next level of competition as determined by try outs and their ability to pay attention for an entire game.
Kids as old as 11 may play in this division if they need to work on their baseball skills.
There are skill assessments for this division and the kids that have the necessary catching, throwing and hitting skills will be placed on a team*.
Both Players and Coaches pitch to batters.   Kids learn to pitch, steal bases and play the position of catcher.
Stike outs and walks occur in this division.

* All kids will be placed on teams according to their age and ability. If they don't qualify for AA, they will be put on an A team.

Players should have strong catching, throwing and hitting skills. Only players pitch to batters. Coaches are only allowed on the field during a time out.

* All kids will be drafted according to their age and ability. If they are not drafted by a manager to a AAA team, they will be put on an AA team as determined by their skill set.
