Last night's game3/5/11 for the 15 - 18 y/o boys, Jani-King vs Champ Cooper was horrific and I along with many other parents were mortified with the referees. I have before last night's game been witness to both of these refs and have never agreed with their calls and lack thereof. It is extremely important for the calls to be made fare and show no favoritism, the boys at this age can easily be compared to penned up bulls all fighting to get out with the testosterone running extremely high. My son(s) have never shown aggression towards any one as this is not the way they were taught to deal with confrontation, walk away if you can. The refs gave these boys no choice but to defend themselves and show anger and frustration against boys they attend school with and had no previous confrontations because of the one sided calling. I am a mom and don't condone erratic behavior but I too found myself wanting to call the Police to come out and demonstrate some authority that was obviously not present in the Community Center, I am admitting to wanting to jump on the refs. From one very frustrated and concerned parent to all others out there please heed our wishes and present this to the appropriate person(s) making the refs schedules and not allow either of these two idiots to return to our gym. Maybe they could ref the babies but definitely not the older children.

The rivalry between Robert and Ponchatoula has to stop! This is Ponchatoula City League Basketball, it is here for the CHILDREN! It is a PRIVILEGE to have this opportunity for our children. Parents, coaches and players need to calm down. Because of some "bad" calls and a game loss, on Friday night, Feb. 19, my children along with every other child in the gym, had to hear a parent and/or coach go crazy when MY son shot a ball that bounced off the rim and hit a girl in her head. And yes, right then he apoligized to her and she said "it's OK" and kept playing for a little bit. My son was made to say he was sorry, a second time, for an accident the is expected to happed in basketball. The lady screaming for him to appoligize was way out of control. This lady made my scared for the safty of my son and everyone else in the gym. Not to mention the Champ Cooper player, who's game # I will not print, yelled remarks that were curse words and was "flipping" everyone off! Yes, a player used profanity! Players with this attitude should not be allowed to play the remainder of the season. People, take a step back and assess the situation before you cause a big problem. My son had nothing to do with the calls of the game so he shouldn't have been the "punching bag". Take advantage of this great opportunity, don't throw it away. Smile and have fun!

Can you show individual stats? That would be really cool.

This website is a great tool. I love the online schedule. This site has helped me as a coach this year.

Can we have maps added under the locations link for family/friends to find the different gyms? That would be a great help.

Thanks to all of the board members!

This is great and a wonderful idea for the community of Ponchatoula. The parents and the children would like the new changes.
