Plaza Little League: News
Signups for Spring 2012 Baseball and Softball (ages 4-18) will be held at the Plaza Little League Complex on:
- Saturday, February 11 (10am-4pm) and Sunday, February 12 (1pm-4pm)
- Saturday, February 18 (10am-4pm) and Sunday, February 19 (1pm-4pm)
- Saturday, February 25 (10am-4pm) and Sunday, February 26 (1pm-4pm)
"League age" for Baseball is child's age on April 30, 2012. "League age" for Softball is child's age on December 31, 2011. Registration fee is $85 per player. Original birth certificate and three (3) proofs of residency required.
Dick's Sporting Goods and Sports Authority - Special Offers
The following discounts on baseball and softball equipment are available to Plaza Little League families, courtesy of Dick's Sporting Goods and Sports Authority:
Dick's Sporting Goods is offering discounts on various items via coupons good from now until June. On Saturday, March 17, Dick's at Lynnhaven Mall will host Plaza Little League In-Store Shop Day, with an additional 15% off in addition to the coupon discounts!
Sports Authority will have Discount Days on Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4 and March 24-25.

In Memoriam: Glenn McClanan
Plaza Little League is saddended by the passing of former State Delegate Glenn McClanan. He and his wife Reba (a former member of City Council) are longtime friends of the league. Residing near the complex, their two sons (Glenn Jr. and Martin) played in our program. Glenn and Reba also frequently attended Opening Ceremonies long after their sons graduated from our league. Plaza Little League sends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to all of Glenn McClanan's family and friends.
