Schedules and Standings
PDF versions of all league schedules are available by clicking the "Schedules/Standings link" in the menu on the left. Standings are kept at the Major and Senior levels only. Winning team managers, please help keep the standings updated by emailing game results to plazall@verizon.net as soon as possible after the completion of the game.
Opening Day = A Hit!
What a fantastic Opening Day! The off-and-on rain did not dampen the excitement...the fields looked great and all games were played. Thanks to all the dedicated volunteers, parents and players for making the day a huge success!
Scorekeeping Clinic - Sunday, March 25 - 1pm
We will be holding a Scorekeeping Clinic on Sunday, March 25 at 1pm in the Plaza Little League Board Room. Come learn the basics, or get a refresher course if you have scorekept before. The home team for each Major and Senior baseball and softball game provides an official scorekeeper.

Remembering Jake Hardison
Jake Hardison has passed away. Mr. Hardison was instrumental in the growth of Little League Baseball and Softball in the Tidewater area. His total dedication was evident in his many decades of involvement at various levels: he began as a coach and manager, served as District 8 Administrator for over 30 years, held a term as Virginia State Little League Coordinator, and organized since 1992 a Challenger event for disabled youth (which has grown into the largest Challenger event held in the world). Jake’s guidance, leadership and vision will be truly missed. Our sincerest condolences go out to the entire Hardison family, and his many, many friends.

Spring 2012 Registration
Signups for Spring 2012 Baseball and Softball (ages 4-18) will be held at the Plaza Little League Complex on:
- Saturday, February 11 (10am-4pm) and Sunday, February 12 (1pm-4pm)
- Saturday, February 18 (10am-4pm) and Sunday, February 19 (1pm-4pm)
- Saturday, February 25 (10am-4pm) and Sunday, February 26 (1pm-4pm)
"League age" for Baseball is child's age on April 30, 2012. "League age" for Softball is child's age on December 31, 2011. Registration fee is $85 per player. Original birth certificate and three (3) proofs of residency required.
In Memoriam: Glenn McClanan
Plaza Little League is saddended by the passing of former State Delegate Glenn McClanan. He and his wife Reba (a former member of City Council) are longtime friends of the league. Residing near the complex, their two sons (Glenn Jr. and Martin) played in our program. Glenn and Reba also frequently attended Opening Ceremonies long after their sons graduated from our league. Plaza Little League sends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to all of Glenn McClanan's family and friends.
