The Weekly Board Member on Duty Schedule has now been posted. These are the people you need to find out at the ball park if there are any problems or questions you may have on the corresponding week nights.


EVERYONE, Please UNPLUG the all Scoreboard control boxes from EACH wall outlet after each game! This will help eliminate power surges that destroy these boxes!

Parents... if your kid has lost his or her glove, bat, bat bag, or any other type of equipment, come by the lost and found box in the board room to see if anything has been turned in!

Team Pictures and Sponsor Plaques by J&G Photo Graphics are now in!!! Swing by the PCLL board room to pick up your team's packages!

Mandatory Responsibilities Note:
Managers & Coaches: Once your week night game and the last Saturday game is complete, be sure to pick up all bases and put them in the score rooms, turn off the field lights and the score board, and lock/close the score room door. Be sure to report your game scores via email as well.
Players, Parents, & Fans: Before you leave after each game, be sure to pick up and throw away all trash in and around the dugouts and bleacher areas to help keep your park clean.
Concession Duty is for parents and coaches only. Please do not send anyone under the age of 16 to represent an adult for your concession duty! Thanks Concession Management!
Teams Concession - Volunteer Schedule is now posted. Coaches, please make sure that you and all your team's parent volunteers report to Eddie Deese in the main concession building to help work and serve in the concession stands on your teams (1) scheduled night this season! Everyone's concession time is scheduled for a non-game night from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

The Rays invite your team to join us at District 4 Little League Day as your American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays take on the Chicago White Sox in a rematch of the 2008 Division Series!  This is a day to wear your uniform and sit with your team as we welcome the Rays back to Tropicana Field for their first homestand of the 2009 season!
When: Sunday, April 19, 1:38 PM - Gates open at 11:38 a.m. 
 - Outfield Tickets $12 (Purchase on the day of game at $19)
 - A.L. Championship Pennant to the first 10,000 kids
 - Kids run the bases post game
 - Free Parking for cars of (4) or more
Team Moms... Team Ticket orders are due in to Michelle Diem by March 30th, 2009!


Picture Retakes for teams that didn't make it on Opening Day, rescheduled for:
Monday March 30th
5:15pm - Jr's Dodgers and Minor's Rays (both have games Monday 3/30 at 6:30pm so they need to go 1st)
5:30pm - Jr's Mets and Jr's Phillies
5:45pm - Jr's Rays and Majors Rays
6:00pm - T-Ball Rays and Machine Pitch Rays



2009 Opening Day
will be Saturday, February 21st!!! Opening Day Schedules and Photo Schedules are now posted! Click the "Schedules" tab to download & print. See the 2 Photo price sheets (Regular & Custom Graphics) as well.
The first regular season game will be played on Monday, February 23rd. Regular Season Game schedules are now posted!

Practice times will end on the Friday prior to Opening Day. There will not be any more field scheduled practice times once the season begins.  

The Mandatory Umpire & Coaches Clinic was Saturday 2/7/09,  9:00am / 12:00pm in the PCLL Boardroom.
If you were not able to attend the coaches clinic this past Saturday, here is a link to the online certification below. There is a $25 fee online to become a certified coach. Managers and at least one coach per team need to be certified. The online certification is provided by the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA).  Go to the following link:

Coaches: If you have any used Tee Balls or Baseballs that are just lying around and you are not using them anymore, Please bring them in and we will issue them back to the up and coming Tee Ballers so they can use them for practice.

Thanks to all volunteers that participated in this year's New Fall Ball Program... you've made it a smooth, fun, and successfull season for all of the kids!!!

2009 Spring Registration continues in the PCLL Boardroom...

We still need enough kids to fill one more Softball Machine Pitch team (9 or more) and one more 4 Year Old Tee Ball team (6 or more) 
We know your out there, So spread the word... tell all your friends... 
we are still accepting Softball registrations for all ages, and for the co-ed 4 year old t-ball program as well!!!

Registration Fees for Baseball And Softball = $110.00 per player
Registration Fees for 4 Year Old Tee Ball = $45.00 per player
All new players will need to bring a copy of their birth certificate and proof of residency (utility bill) with them to registration. Make Checks payable to P.C.L.L.

Tryouts this year will be held throughout the day on Saturday 1/17/09.
Note: All 10, 11, & 12 year olds must tryout for the Majors Division.
All players must attend at least 50% of the scheduled tryouts to be eligible to play.
Tryout makeup day will be Tuesday 1/20/09 (6:30-8:30pm) for all ages.

Boys Tryout Schedule:
4-6 year olds will be assigned to Tee Ball Baseball / 4 yr Tee Ball teams
  7 year olds will tryout at 1:00pm on Field 4
  8 year olds will tryout at 3:00pm on Field 4 
  9 year olds will tryout at 2:00pm on Field 2 
10 year olds will tryout at 4:00pm on Field 2 
11 year olds will tryout at 4:00pm on Field 3
12 year olds will tryout at 2:00pm on Field 3 
13 and up will tryout at 5:00pm on Field 9

Girls Tryout Schedule:
4-6 year olds will be assigned to Tee Ball Softball / 4 yr Tee Ball teams
  7 year olds will tryout at 1:00pm on Field 5
  8 year olds will tryout at 1:00pm on Field 6  
  9 year olds will tryout at 3:00pm on Field 5 
10 year olds will tryout at 3:00pm on Field 6 
11 year olds will tryout at 5:00pm on Field 5
12 year olds will tryout at 5:00pm on Field 6

Tuesday September 16th is the day that you will be able to cast your vote for the new 2009 PCLL Board Members. Voter absentee ballots will be accepted on Monday 9/15/08. Just stop by the boardroom after 6:00pm on Monday to fill out and turn in you absentee ballots. Tuesday will be the final 2008 PCLL Board Meeting starting at 6:00pm and the final day to cast your vote. If you are a Booster Member and you were not on the ballot, you can be nominated as a write in at that time of the final meeting.
