Senior Dan Locke won the 50 and 100 free and was a member of the first place 400 free relay as the Pittsford Boys Swimming and Diving team claimed their fourth straight Owego Invitational championship.
Pittsford racked up an impressive 486 points at the annual tournament, 161 more than second place New Paltz (325). Fairport came in third with 318 points. Seven teams from throughout New York State took part in the invitational at Owego Free Academy on December 13.
Head Coach Mark Morris said the victory was due to the “depth and balance” of his Pittsford team, including good performances from his younger swimmers. The top 16 finishers in each event, to a maximum of four per team, along with an “A” relay scored points for their schools.
