PITTSFORD DEFEATS GREECE ARCADIA, CHURCHVILLE CHILI
PITTSFORD SWIMS BY GREECE ARCADIA TO REMAIN UNBEATEN
Jimmy Prezzano won both the 200 free and the 100 fly as the Pittsford Boys Swimming and Diving team cruised to a 124-29 victory over Greece Arcadia on December 21.
The Panthers extended their unbeaten streak to 5-0 in dual meets (with Arcadia the first League meet of the season). The finmen are 7-0 overall, including victories at two tournaments.
Nate French, Kenny Pink, Sean McManus and Andrew Kuter teamed up for first place in the opening 200 medley relay. Prezzano followed with his first win in the 200 free, with John Lyman second and Brandon McManus third.
Kuter and Matt Lobban battled it out in the 200 IM, with Kuter taking first, Lobban second and Ari Kapilivsky fourth. Sean McManus took first in the 50 free, with Andrew Maier in third place.
Pittsford swept the top three spots in the diving competition, with senior Wills DeMoulin taking first with 179.55 points, followed by Scott Lasher and Alex Byrd.
Prezzano’s second win came in the 100 fly, with Dan Locke second and Jeff Parvin fourth. Matt VanVoorhis took second in the 100 free, with Alex Hannan third. Pink took first place in the 500 free, with Sean McManus second and Nick Allwell fourth.
Locke, Lobban, Tyler McCrobie and Lee Silverstein were the victors in the 200 free relay.
Nate French followed with a first place in the 100 back, and then freshman Lee Silverstein notched his first victory for varsity in individual events by winning the 100 breast.
The Panthers junior varsity defeated the Arcadia JV team 105-58. The JV had three double winners on the day. Emmett Jacobi won the 200 free and the 500 free, Nick Haas took the 50 free and the 100 back, and Owen Drinkwater was the victor in the 100 free and the 100 breast. Other individual winners for JV included Josh Kapilivsky in the 200 IM and Spencer Brown in the 100 fly.
PITTSFORD DOWNS CHURCHVILLE CHILI, 114-58
The Pittsford finmen easily defeated Churchville Chili, 114-58, at the friendly confines of Mendon Pool on December 19.
Matt Lobban, Andrew Maier, Kenny Pink and Andrew Kuter won the 200 medley relay. Pink, Kuter, and Brandon McManus followed with a 1,2,3 sweep in the 200 free. It was another sweep in the 200 IM, with Nate French in first, Jimmy Prezzano second and Nick Allwell third. Dan Locke won the 50 free, with Tyler McCrobie third.

S. McManus teamed up with Matt VanVoorhis, McCrobie and Kuter for first place in the 200 free relay. Pink, the third double winner for the Panthers, followed with a 59.62 to take the 100 back.
S. McManus, Lobban, Prezzano and N. French closed the meet with a victory in the 400 free relay.
