Pitman Little League offers Little League Baseball and Fastpitch Softball to all young players in Pitman, NJ. Pitman Little League is chartered by Little League Baseball, Incorporated and we offer a spring and fall baseball and fastpitch softball programs.

We hope that our website will answer all of your questions about Pitman Little League.

• Pitman Little League is once again gearing up for another outstanding baseball season.  All children ages 7 to 16 (born between January 1, 1993 and April 30, 2003) that live within the boundaries of Pitman or played in PLL in 2009 are eligible.

·         ALL PLAYERS, NEW AND RETURNING, MUST REGISTER BY JANUARY 16, 2010

Required Documentation

• A copy of the player’s birth certificate (to be retained by league), if player did not play in PLL last year.  Former Pitman Recreation T-Ball players need to bring a birth certificate.  PLL will have photocopying capabilities at registration.
•  Appropriate payment method (cash or check).
• Registration Form and Health Survey signed by parent or legal guardian.
• Volunteer Application (for any adults wanting to coach or umpire) 

All registration for the 2010 season will be held at Pitman Boro Hall, 110 South Broadway

The Board has established the following fees for the 2010 season:

Registration Items              Cost

Player Registration Fee            $65.00 per player

Concession Stand Buyout        $50.00 per player/family

Fundraising                              $20.00 per player/family 

Fundraising - This year, PLL will be conducting a raffle with 10 available prizes.  Each family is required to purchase 4 - $5.00 tickets for the raffle.   

Registration Fee Waiver - Pitman Little League offers all children the opportunity to play regardless of their families’ ability to pay the registration fees. If you would like to request that the registration fee(s) for your child(ren) be waived due to your current financial situation, please send a written note to PLL President, Daryl Hulitt, 335 Roosevelt Avenue, Pitman, NJ 08071. 

Volunteer Opportunities – Pitman Little League is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that relies on volunteer support to be successful.

• Each family will be required to work at least once in a refreshment stand (or pay the buyout).
•  Umpires needed for both baseball or softball (Majors, Juniors, Seniors)
• Snack Stand Managers needed to oversee scheduling for the 2010 season.
