March 19, 2012, Superintendent Pummell and the Clare School Board honored us, the Clare Varsity Soccer team, on its own winning tradition.  Over the past five years, this school has positioned itself atop the Southern Division of the Northern Michigan Soccer League four times.  Three consecutive seasons we have been in that enviable apex of the league.

Taylor Ardis and Bryce Anderson were also recognized for their All-State selections.  For the first time, we had two players from Clare make the All-State squad. 

Wednesday drop-in soccer has started.  If you were unable to attend the meeting May 23rd, we discussed Wednesdays.  I cannot attend until school is over, but many of the players will be in attendance.  Times during the school year will be 7 pm, but once school is over the time will change to 8 pm.  If you know anyone who would like to participate, invite them along.
