PJP Cheer - SYF Competition Information
Cheer Competition
The moment you've been waiting for:
Date: November 14, 2010
Place: Sacramento Memorial Auditorium
Time:Session I (doors open @ 9:15): intermediate level - JPW & PW squads
Session II (doors open @ 2:15): Advanced level - JM/M Combination squad competing @ Midget level.
Price: $12/person for 1 session, or $20/person for both sessions. All Cheerleaders and people with badges attend for free.
We encourage the JM&M cheerleaders to come to the earlier session and the JPW & PW to stay for the later session in an effort to support each other!

SILENT AUCTION!!!
To help the Shriner's representatives, Gary Kincaid has kindly offered his services!
We have a couple of gift cards for you to take family portraits, graduation, or any other type of professional picture you may need!
The Silent Auction will end on Friday October 8th by midnight! The top two bids will receive a gift card (valued @ $150) which includes the sitting fee, an 8x10 and 2 5x7 photos!!!!.

One of the great things about being a member of SYF is getting involved and giving back to the community. For the past 14 years, SYF has participated in the Youth Shrine Bowl. The Youth Shrine Bowl is made up of 8th grade All-Stars chosen from each organization around our region. The California Youth Shrine Bowl game will be held on November 27, 2010. The winners of the California Youth Shrine Bowl will go on to play in the Florida Shrine Bowl on December 11th. Each organization may select up to four football players and four cheerleaders to represent them. The students chosen are individuals who are greatly involved in community outreach and are exceptional student athletes.
We would like to congratulate the following PJP representatives:

Part of the conditions set on these players/cheerleaders is that they participate in a community service project. Part of that project is fundraising and a requirement to sell 60 tickets to the California game, and the cost is $12 per ticket. The game will be played in the Sacramento area on November 27th, and the place is TBA. We strongly encourage you to support our PJP players/cheerleaders! If you cannot purchase a ticket, you can also donate money to the cause. All proceeds will go to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children. This is for a good cause and we are proud of our representatives! Please talk with one or more of the families listed above and see how you may help them!
