Petaluma American Little League will hold tryouts for the Sr. Division on Sunday, April 19, 9:00 a.m.
at the Casa Grande High School JV Field.
A parent or guardian’s home address determines in which league the
player should register. Generally, all Players east of Highway 101 and
north of Washington Blvd. are within the Petaluma American League
boundaries.

Petaluma American will post & maintain the Junior Schedule and Standings. Look for the schedule to be posted the week of April 6th.

Junior & Senior Try-Out Dates
Petaluma American Little League will hold tryouts for the Jr. Division, and registration for the Jr. & Sr. Divisions, on Sunday, March 15, 9:00 a.m. at Prince Park in Petaluma. Children ages 13 through 16 as of April 30, 2009 and living within the Petaluma American Little League boundaries are eligible to enroll. Full and partial scholarships are available.
If you have not previously registered, please arrive by 8:30 a.m. and bring an original birth certificate and three proofs of your current address.

2009 Jr / Sr Division Registration info
In conjunction with Petaluma National and Valley Little Leagues, the 2009 Season Registration dates have been established. Registration will again be held at Bernard Eldridge Elementary School on the following dates:
Registrations will be accepted on Try-Out Days. Please arrive 30 minutes early to register.
Junior Try-Outs are March 15, 9AM @ Prince Park
Senior Try-Outs are April 19, 9AM @ CASA JV Field
Fee Schedule: Ages 13-16 $180
No On-Line Registration will be offered this year but we will be able to take Visa, Mastercard, Check or Cash at the face-to-face registration dates. Please print out all registration documents and bring them completed to any of the above dates. Returning Players - We will have your registration form on-hand.
*If you have moved or live outside the Petaluma American Little League boundaries and wish to continue playing in PALL, you must also bring three proofs of residency at your OLD address (within the PALL Boundaries).

2009 Rule Change - Bats
Attention Parents:
Beginning with the 2009 Little League Baseball season, baseball bats with a diameter of 2 ¾ inches are no longer permitted for use in the Junior League Division of Baseball.
Baseball bats with a 2 5/8 inch diameter are now the standard for all teenage baseball divisions (Junior, Senior and Big League).
The "minus-3" requirement, overall weight (in ounces) of a bat can be no more than three ounces below the overall length (in inches) of the bat, remains in effect in Senior and Big League Baseball divisions, but is NOT a requirement in Junior and lower divisions of Little League Baseball.
Also, in effect for the 2009 season is the requirement that all non-wood bats used in all Little League Baseball Divisions shall be printed with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less.
