ROCKET SENIORS SIGN NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT TO PLAY BASEBALL AT THE NEXT LEVEL
The Rocket baseball team had only three Seniors this year. All three of the Seniors will be playing basebball at the next level.
Senior Robbie Byrd, Outfielder/Pitcher, will be playing Baseball for Barton College in Wilson North Carolina.
Senior Cody Jones, Outfielder, will be playing Baseball at SouthEastern Community College in Whiteville North Carolina
Senior Jerrod Moore, Pitcher/Infielder will be playing Baseball For Lenior-Rhyne College in Hickory North Carolina
Congratulations to these fine young men and may God Bless them and there families in there new adventures!!!

ALL CONFERENCE TEAMS / PAC-SIX PLAYER AND COACH OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCED
Person Highschool placed four Person Baseball Players on the PAC-SIX All Conference Team. Those players are:
Robbie Byrd (Senior-Outfielder)
Jerrod Moore (Senior-Infielder)
Elliott Tolley (Junior-Utility Player)
Doug Weaver (Junior-Designated Hitter)
Also receiving Honorable Mention All-Conference PAC-SIX were two other Rocket PLayers. They were:
Hunter Wrenn (Junior Pitcher)
Jeremy Peed (Sophmore Outfielder)
PLAYER OF THE YEAR FOR PAC-SIX:
JUSTIN DUNCAN of Riverside was named PAC-SIX player of the year. Justin had a outstanding year for the Pirates as there Ace pitcher!!! Congratulations to Justin Duncan who by the way, his parents Lisa and Bennie Duncan are from Roxboro.
Coach Of The Year:
Doug Blowe of the Riverside Pirates was named as the PAC-SIX Coahc of the Year for leading his team to the Conference Championship and the State 4A playoffs.
