Swimming Update: Well, so far, the first two weeks of November has turned out to be a busy start of our PAC season. On the USA Swimming front, Nicole Jibrine and Will Manion represented PAC at the Minnesota Grand Prix and did us proud!!!!! We also have had four tough SAL meets. The girls turned in two great performances and are now 2 wins and no losses. Coach Jason was excited with both outings. He looks forward to fielding a full squad against Neshaminy CORE next week. The boys SAL team is now 1 win and one loss and are coming back very strong. This is due to strong swimming AND great coaching. Coach Jill and the team had an AWESOME outing against PWAC. Please, so we can keep the momentum going, if you cannot attend the third SAL meet, contact Jason for the Girls team, Jill for the Boys team and Tanya for Divers, ASAP. They need time to do line ups for the meet. If you do not contact them they will assume that you will be there. Here are their email addresses:
Diving Update: PAC would like to welcome Tanya Lindenmuth as our new permanent diving coach as she will begin coaching on Mondays and Fridays. for the PAC diving team. She is a LaSalle graduate, where she dove on a partial scholarship, and has experience working with divers of all abilities. In the meantime, we are continuing our search for a second diving coach to cover our other dive workouts. While we look for a second permanent diving coach, PAC is going to continue to utilize some of our own experienced High School divers to work with the younger kids. We have done this for years with some of our High School swimmers to allow them to give back to their club. Specifically, senior diving standout Emily Howard and up and coming diving star Alicia Raffle will be helping out to start the diving program. See our coaches page for more information on them.

ROWDY! ROWDY! ROWDY!: As if a day of meets was not enough, many swimmers took advantage of 3-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Rowdy Gaines' swim clinic. We spent the afternoon watching video and listening to the Ambassador of Swimming as he coached our athletes in and out of the pool. Coach Hutchinson was very proud of our swimmers for the attentiveness they showed after a long day of swimming.
Rowdy was very impressed with our team and enjoyed his visit. Thank you to the parents, board and staff in making this a great afternoon for PAC swimming. Coach Matt showed his sprinting ability as he touched out the Olympian not once, but TWICE! Nice job Matt!!!!!
Thinking of Joining our Club? There still is time and a whole lot of the swim season left. It is never too late to join PAC! All you have to do is download the Fee Schedule and Registration Form by clicking on the buttons below. Then, folow all of the directions on the registration form and send it to our Head Coach, Dean Hutchinson at coachhutch@pennaquatics.com. Coach Hutchinson would be more than happy to answer ANY question you might have about our club too!!!!!
Your Child Needs You: Being part of the Pennsbury Aquatics Club swim team is exciting and rewarding for kids and parents alike! Many of our swimmers and parents remain part of the team either as swimmers, coaches, officials or volunteers for many years. This could not happen without the dedication of the families who get fully involved. Swim leagues are inherently in need of more parent volunteers than many other children's sports. What is also true is that in no other sport will your child get as many hours of training and instruction from a skilled staff of coaches at such a bargain rate. In the Suburban Aquatic League and USA Swimming swim meets, kids get a chance not only to compete on a team or individually against other swimmers. They also get an opportunity to set and exceed personal performance goals. We are asking ALL swim team parents to support your child by volunteering for a swim meet job. To volunteer, please contact either Cathy Jeronis at catswim1@verizon.net or David Shuster at david.shuster@bms.com
