Testimonials
Coach Yurkow and Coach Cole,
Thank you so much for inviting me to Penn this past three years. Even though I will not be recruited by Penn, I can easilly say that your camps are by far the best experience in college baseball preparation that I have encountered. I enjoyed staying and meeting players from around the country and the great leadership shown by your coaches. I will be highly recommending Penn camp to coaches and friends. Thanks again for this opportunity.

Dear Coach Yurkow,
I would like to thank you for having me at your showcase last weekend. Not only was it a great and enjoyable experience, but during the duration of simply two days, I learned a great amount from the camp's coaching staff. Being that this was my first true showcase at a "Big Time" school, I got a great concept of what playing baseball in college is all about, and I'm convinced it's what I want to do.
Once again, thank you for contributing your time for the benefit of us players, it's greatly appreciated. I hope to see you again at the second-time-around session in June, and I hope to hear back from you soon.
Thanks again.

Coach Cole:
I would just like to inform you that this past weekend was an incredible experience for me. You ran a camp that was competitive, informative, and exciting. I was introduced to nuances that are sure to enhance my game. I saw an immediate change in the velocity and rotation of my throwing by utilizing my forearm and tucking my thumb underneath the ball. Hitting-wise, Coach Exeter worked on bringing my elbow inward and throwing the knob to the ball.
Thank you for conducting such a superb camp, as I will carry this experience and everything I learned this past weekend with me through my life. I look forward to receiving my evaluation, as I am always looking to further improve my game.

"Coach,
I just want to drop you a note and thank you for the excellent baseball clinic you put on last Saturday at Penn. You, along with the other coaches, did a fantastic job. My son attended the morning session and had a great time. All the drills and instructions were right on target. It was the first time his swing had ever been video taped and it was a real eye opener.
I too found the clinic helpful since I coach a little league team and will be able to use some of the drills.
I also really appreciated the comments you made at the beginning about the importance of school work. He's having a bit of a struggle right now in 6th grade and I know your words came through loud and clear.
Again, thanks and I'm sure we'll be seeing you at future camps.
Good luck with the upcoming season."

Coach Cole and Coach Yurkow,
"I want to extend my sincere thank you for the opportunity you provided to my son this past weekend. I also want to thank you for your interest and one-on-one time spent with Matt during the camp. He has been working very hard at his baseball and with your added influence will improve even faster.
But most importantly, I want to thank you for the emphasis you placed on the significance of his grades and what they mean to his future. Matt is a smart kid, but he has not applied himself to his schoolwork as much as he should, despite my continuous prodding. These last couple weeks, between the DeSales camp when Coach Yurkow first talked to him through the Penn camp and continuing today, I have seen a complete change. He is applying himself to his studies. He attended tutoring in Calculus and received his first 100 percent on a test. He is practicing for his SAT daily. I am both impressed and very pleased.
So, thank you for changing my son's approach to his studies. You have made an impression on a kid that I believe will cause a significant positive change in his life. He would have done well before but may never have reached his true potential. With your comments he is now realizing he must work as hard at school as he does at baseball, and for that I am very grateful."
Sincerely.
