Penfield Little League is proud to announce an alliance with the SUNY Sports Institute for the purpose of creating a certification program for our League. The goal of the Penfield Little League Board of Directors is to have all managers in the League receive certification.
Since this is the first year we are offering our certification program, attendance is mandatory for all new managers of 2010, whose application is pending board approval. Managers who have volunteered for Penfield Little League in past years are encouraged to become certified, but are not required to do so.

Penfield Little League Uniform Dress Code
Penfield Little League needs your help in making each of our teams meet the above "Standard Pants Dress Code"
.
Under "Handouts" is a Pants Order Form to purchase the baseball pants that the Penfield Little League Board of Directors have chosen as the “Standard Pant” to be worn by all Levels of Play from Border League (League Age 8) through Big League (League Ages 16,17 and 18).
To help each player comply with the instituted Team Dress Code, we have negotiated a great price with Mike Clancy of Proforma, our major supplier of equipment, and an easy method to purchase the Standard Pant. As you will see on the attached order blank, the cost of the pants is $11. The Adult Pant normally retails for $29.99 and the Youth Pant normally retails for $24.99. From the comfort of your home and computer, you can print, complete and follow the listed instructions to purchase as many pants, of the correct size that your player needs to comply with the Team Dress Code. You can do this by mailing the completed form to the designated address along with your payment or you can complete the form and attach it to the email address of Mike Clancy. If you are not comfortable with providing your credit card information on the order form, please provide a telephone number the Proforma’s Customer Service Department can use to reach you to obtain the information. Be sure to print your name and telephone number below the signature line of your pants order.
The order deadline will be April 10, 2010.
Pickup dates and time: At the PLL Complex, 3100 Atlantic Ave.
Saturday April 17, 2010 12 to 3PM or Saturday April 24, 2010 10:30AM to 2:30PM
If for some reason the pants do not fit to your satisfaction, you will be able to exchange the pants for the correct size at the PLL Complex.
PLL will supply the additional parts to the total uniform, through the team Manager that your player has either been drafted or assigned to play on for the 2010 season. PLL will supply a hat with team sponsor name, replica jersey and socks that match the color scheme of the uniform outfit.
The Player Development motto is “Training to Be Champions” the Board of Directors feels that the discipline of every player wearing the same UNIFORM is part of that training. To that end players not wearing the designated uniform of their team will be warned the first time they do not comply and then not allowed to play the second time they fail to comply.
We feel we are a quality program and we would like our players to look the part!
Thank you in advance for helping us with this program of uniformity.
