2013 PEMBROKE/PETAWAWA T-BALL REGISTRATIONS

IT IS WITH MIXED EMOTIONS THAT THE LEAGUE WILL STOP ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS FOR T-BALL FOR THE 2013 SEASON. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN OUR PROGRAM AND HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.

2013 DIVISIONS AND FEE'S

T-ball - 5-6 Yrs - 65$

Rookie 7 - 8 yrs - 75$

Minor 9 - 10 Yrs - 85$

Major 11 and 12 - 95$

Junior 13 and 14 - 95$

Senior/Big League 15 to 18 - 100$

 CHANGE TO COACH PITCH DIVISION 

 DURING THE FALL EXECUTIVE MEETING IT WAS NOTED THAT THE "COACH PITCH" DIVISION, THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO PREP 7 YEAR OLDS FOR THE MINOR DIVISION, WAS NOT MEETING ITS PURPOSE. THE "COACH PITCH" DIVISION HAS BEEN SUBEQUENTLY BEEN RENAMED TO THE "ROOKIE" DIVSION AND WILL RUN AS CLOSE TO THE MINOR DIVISION AS POSIBLE WITH ONE MAJOR CHANGE - THE COACH WILL PITCH(OVERHAND). THE "ROOKIE" DIVISION WILL FIELD 9 PLAYERS, RECORD OUTS, HAVE AN UMPIRE, AND A SET SCHEDULE OF GAMES AS PER THE MINOR DIVISION. ALTOUGH THE DIVSION IS FOR 7-8 YEAR OLDS IT IS OPEN TO OLDER PLAYERS THAT THINK THEY MAY NOT BE READY FOR A MORE COMPETITIVE "PLAYER PITCH" MINOR DIVISION, AND THOSE 6 YEAR OLDS THAT HAVE PLAYED AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF T-BALL AND HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE GAME.

BASEBALL QUOTE OF THE MONTH

Every year we get asked what night of the week will the kids play on. Most of the time the next question is my child wants to play both Baseball and Soccer but can't because the nights conflict. Here is the explinations on why this is.

1. Pembroke and Petawawa baseball divisions play on the same nights Pembroke and Petawawa soccer clubs don't.

2. The age groups for baseball and soccer are differnt. Example - baseballs  Major Divsion are 11-12 year olds and the U-12 are 11-10 year olds. Regardless half of the kids in every division will be left out.

3. Both Pembroke and Petawawa Soccer Clubs have there schedules out on there websites so if your looking for info please visit there sites.

4. Many families do play both with this system. If its a baseball GAME they come to baseball. If its a PRACTICE the go to soccer. The Baseball season ends before the soccer season so the soccer playoffs do not get effected.
