Pasadena Trojans: Welcome

WELCOME TO THE 2011 PASADENA TROJANS WEBSITE

On Sunday, October 6th, OEC had one of the saddest days it has seen. On the last scrimmage play of the 3rd quarter during our Div.-I Midget Orange Bowl Championship Game, a horrible event occurred. While attempting to prevent a Saddleback Valley score at the goal line, Lakewood Lancers player, Donovan Hill (#4), suffered a broken neck. The Dr.'s have informed the family that Donovan will never walk again. No child or family should ever have to suffer like this when he was just playing a game. It reminds us all of how fragile life really is, and in just a moment, joy can turn to sorrow.

We would ask that each of you commit to making a daily prayer for Donovan and his family during this difficult time. This is not just some kid from some place we have never heard of, he is one of us. Let God hear our prayers and lend healing hands to Donovan, and comfort for his family & all that know him.

We are very proud of the way our Pop Warner Family has come together for Donovan and we have set up a fund for him.

Please make contributions to: Donovan Hill c/o Orange Empire Conference P.O. Box 7652 Huntington Beach, Co. 92615-7652

Please continue to keep Donovan and Family in your Prayers. Send this to everyone and anyone you know....
