| The parents of Isiah Woods III would like to thank all of you for your thoughts, prayers and all acts of kindness. We went to the specialist earlier today and there were no breaks. They will remove the cast on December 2. We have enjoy this year being a Mustang and hopefully next year will be even better. We didn’t know what to expect when we came over to the Mustang organization but we have been blessed with another family. We greatly appreciate everyone for accepting and teaching our children. |

I received these emails during the 2007 season from former Mustang parents. Thought I'd share them with the entire Mustang family:
Coach Hayman it is with great pride that I watched last night our boys in
competition against each other. Horace Mann played Pulaski Heights
and as you know we had several former Mustangs on each side. Our
boys (Kyron Richardson, Eric Nathaniel, Antonee Graves, Russell Rosby,
Gary Dyer and of course Rashaad Earls) displayed such talent and skill beyond
that of the average middle school athlete. What those boys displayed last
night was evidence of how valuable the Mustangs is to not just the kids but our
community as well.
During the summer before the season ever began they ask Rashaad where he'd
played and he proudly said I'm a running back and middle linebacker for the
Mustangs...they tried to give him a helmet for a lineman and Rashaad told
them you gave me the wrong helmet, that's a facemask for a lineman and, I'm a
running back.
He's playing both offense and defense for 7th grade, has scored twice and
last night (inspite of the fact the coach told Rodney "he's cable of playing
varsity but we aren't going to play him) was the only 7th grader that played
with the varsity, although the varsity lost Rashaad let he's presence be
known!
To hear those parents boast about how well advance Rashaad is humbles our
(Rodney & mine) spirit and reminds us from which he came and we will never
forget our Mustang roots.
Carla Earls
I agree totally with what has been expressed about the Mustang organization. One thing that has helped our boys is that they have learned how to play the game; and also, how to play more than one position. Thanks for all you do (coaches, players, and parents) and please keep up the good work. We miss you all and look forward to being at some of the games.
Kim Rosby
I totally agree. They displayed much talent and confidence within themselves. As you all know,
I worry about Gary's size and wanted him to play school to get used to the regime of school ball
prior to him entering the 8th grade. Gary has been a real tropper and has not complained once even while practicing in the triple digit weather this summer. I can say our boys have stuck together at Pulaski Heights, the older boys Kyron and Russell look out for Gary and Eric and that is a wonderful blessing. We give all credit and respect to the Mustangs organization.

| We came to the Mustangs from another organization we are now comming up on the 3rd year with the Mustangs and my own involvment has been greater than I expected when I first registered them.I DO NOT REGRET A BIT OF IT!!!! The Parkview Mustangs has been a great way for my kids to make some lifelong friends and cause my youngest child to open up more to playing sports, he loves it!!! I enjoy helping with the organization and encourage any parent who registers their child to do the same. Keep up the great work Mustangs!!!!!!!!!!!! |
