Board Elections
Members are elected to the board and then the board elects members to the positions described below. Election day is near the end of September.
President - Presides at league meetings, and assumes full responsibility for the operation of the local league. The President receives all mail, supplies and other communications from Little League International. The President must see to it that the league personnel is properly briefed on all phases of rules, regulations, and policies of Little League. The league President is the contact between the local organization and Little League International.
Vice President - Presides in the absence of the President; works with other officers and committee members; is ex-officio member of all committees and carries out such duties and assignments as may be delegated by the President.
Secretary- Takes notes at every meeting and fills out all paperwork for league and keeps records in order for submitting all records to Little League headquarters.
Treasurer - Signs checks co-signed by another officer or director; dispenses league funds as approved by the board; reports on status of league funds; keeps local league books and financial records; prepares budget and assumes the responsibility for all local league finances.
Player Agent - Conducts annual tryouts and is in charge of player selection, assists President in checking birth records and eligibility of players; serves as member of board of directors of the local league.
Safety Officer - Coordinates all safety activities; ensures safety in player training; ensures safe playing conditions.
League Information Officer - Sets up and manages leagues official web site. Distributes important information on league activities.
Coaching Coordinator - Represents coaches/managers in the league. Works on training program for the coaches to work with the players in building there team.
Fund Raiser Coordinator - Works with coach coordinator and team mom to help raise monies for the league.
Concession Coordinator- Works with board and all teams to have concession trailer at park every day we have games to provide food and drinks. Cleans, purchases, and inventories all products sold.
Grand Opening Day Coordinator/Closing Day Coordinator – Works with the board, public and Fund Raiser Coordinator for our first day of our season and end of season day.
Uniform, Trophy’s & Pictures – Works with vendors for our teams.
Field & Light Coordinator – Works with the League Information Officer and Umpire Coordinator to have things set up for all practices and games.
Umpire Coordinator – Works with any leagues we are having inter-league play with so all games are covered and gets information to League Information Officer and treasurer for payments.
Equipment Coordinator- Does in and out inventory of equipment, makes sure all equipment is safe and replace any that is unsafe. Work with Coach Coordinator and Treasurer. (make sure all items are in shed for team play)
