| A number of years after he retired, Sam Snead was playing a round of golf with a young would- be Tour player. As they were waiting at the tee box on the first hole, Sam's opponent -- who was rather large and strong -- asked Sam's advice about the upcoming tee shot. “Mr. Snead, do you think I can clear those tall pine trees over on the right?” Sam thought for a moment and replied, “When I was your age, I could clear those trees with no problem.” The young man, brimming with confidence, teed up his ball, took a few practice swings, and promptly whacked his ball right into the middle of the pine grove. He looked at Sam, quizzically and disgustedly threw his driver back into the bag as Sam coolly remarked, “Of course When I was your age, those trees were only eight feet tall!” |

| I've booked my room for the 2012 open at the resort. The cost that are posted on the PB web page don't reflect the $27.00 per night charge for just being there. It's on the top of room, golf and tax. Just letting everyone know that is there. So the 179.99 with tax is now 206.99. per night for single. |

| the other evening eteamz took a hit on one of their servers; when it returned many sites suffered IE compatibility errors. All should be well now. When this happens to you a solution is to click the ‘compatibility view’ icon at the top of your IE browser. Then type in the website url to the "add this website:" box 1. click on "Tools" in your IE menu bar 2. type "eteamz.com" in the "Add this website:" box 3. click Add |

| SCGA warns of Golf Theft [click here] for picture |
| This past weekend both Indian Wells Country Club and Indian Wells Resort had golfers who were victims of theft. We want to alert you to the suspect's target so that you may inform staff as well as police should you notice anything suspicious. A man dressed as a golfer with a nice set of clubs and dressed professionally came to the course. He stated to the staff he was here early for his tee time and that his friends would be arriving later and he wanted to loosen up. He proceeded to watch the guests, and must have located a couple victims. The target seemed to be Rolex watches. As golfers were putting their valuables in their golf bag he would watch them, and when the bag was unattended he would go into the bag and remove the valuables. He was very quick, and obviously very risky. | So I snag 50 little Big Points at Sierra Lakes and leapfrog 6 positions up the rank approaching superstar status but still a tier 3 contender. If not for Goliath and the Three 900 Ton Whales it would be very competitive with just 3 events and Better Ball points remaining. |
