It seems that there is going to be new blood on the PB board. That can be a good thing. It has been at least 12 years since any change was made to our way of doing things. That change was to eliminate the 18 max handicap for skins and to have both gross and net skins. So I suggest you guys throw out some ideas for the new team.
Just to get the conversation started:
1) Discontinue the newsletter and just use our web site.
2) Have one event a year be a 4 man scramble.
3) Put every player with a single digit index in A Flight.
3) Make C Flight for seniors and play from the white tees.
4) Discontinue the match play for club championship and make the 2 day low gross player at the Open the Champ.
5) The treasurer should publish a financial statement every year.
6) At least one full membership meeting should be held annually.
7) The 10% fund should become the 50% fund. |
