ParBoiler Sign-up Guidelines
Your voluntary compliance with these guidelines will help in confirming player count with participating golf courses, collecting fees, and booking tournament 4-somes. Our current procedures may work wonderfully for you, but they create the same disorganized scheduling conundrums every week. If you are not making an effort to be a quality member, you are probably part of the problem. The following guidelines will be applied as needed to benefit the smooth scheduling of ParBoiler events.
· It is assumed that all ParBoilers will use the PB Sign-up Book and/or On-line Sign-up as frequently as possible. When situations demand that the sign-up sheet does not work for you, call Steve at your earliest convenience to sign-up or withdraw.
· It has always been ParBoiler policy that if one does not show up for an event when he is signed up, that member is liable for whatever Green Fees the club imposes; (ie: 3 players do not show, the course charges the ParBoilers 2 Green Fees @ $50 each. Result is $100.00 / 3 = $35 per player).
· If a player does not show for an event when he is signed up and the course does not charge the ParBoilers; a $10.00 no-show fee will be accessed to that member.
· Late cancellations will still incur a Green Fee Penalty if ParBoilers are charged by the course. Although most courses are very accommodating, an accurate head count is always required a minimum of eight days in advance.
· Players that show up but did NOT sign up will be accommodated once Steve has determined that there is space available. This may regularly result in that person being assigned a tee time where a need to fill a 4-some exists.
· Pre-arranged 4-somes will not be entered onto the starters list until all players in that 4-some are paid. If you want a particular 4-some, get there on time, pay for your friends, and understand why you are moved to the end.
As always, suggestions and solutions are appreciated. Quality members have quality ideas.
To be a good caddie, one must do three things consistently: “Show up, Keep up, & Shut up”!
