District 36 All Star Tournament Update
The 12 year old team is finally retired after an impressive battle through the brackets. They won their first game with a commanding victory over Lunada Bay. They lost their second game to El Segundo. In their third game they beat Manhattan Beach 10 to 8. In game four they beat another Manhattan Beach team 16 to 7. They beat Rolling Hills in an exciting and close game five and lost to El Segundo for the second time in the District Championship. El Segundo now advance to the Sectionals.
The 11 year old team lost their first game to Lunada Bay but pulled off a 19-9 win over North Redondo in game two. They lost their third game to El Segundo and were retired from the tournament.
The 10 year old team lost their first game to Hermosa Beach but beat South Redondo in a 5-3 win in game two. They lost their third game 1-0 in a tight defensive battle against Manhattan Beach and were retired from the tournament.
Thanks to all the PVLL fans and families who came out and supported the All Stars!

Post Season Tournaments
We are pleased to announce a PVLL sweep at the King of the Hill tournament! Congratulations to the PV Major Angels and the PV Intermediate Red Sox for winning the coveted King of the Hill trophies for both divisions.
Congratulations also to the PV Major Red Sox and PV Intermediate Reds who represented the league well advancing to the semi finals of the Tournament of Champions before being retired in closely contested games. Well done guys!
