JOIN US! Would you like to be a part of the Palos Stars Football & Cheerleading Family? If so, please print off the 2012 Registration Form found on the website and either mail form and proper deposit amount to the address listed below. Our field is located directly across from the Palos Heights Metra train station on Southwest Highway. Palos Stars Football & Cheerleading 12820 Loveland, Alsip, IL 60803 The only payment required at this time with the registration form is a $50 non-refundable fee per child. The balance of the fees will be paid either on an assigned day during football equipment pickup week or on the first day of practice for cheerleaders. Equipment/uniforms for cheerleaders are passed out a couple weeks into the season.
GENERAL INFORMATION In order to prepare for competitions, we are strongly recommending that all girls take a tumbling course during the winter/spring months. Tumbling for Cheerleading Academy (TCA) located in Orland Park has a schedule of classes.
At this time Participation fees are $160 per child. Each Stars family must sell $125 in raffle tickets. This is a mandatory fundraiser. We ask each family to purchase the raffle tickets on the first day of cheerleading practice. The family then has until near the end of August 2012 to turn the tickets in. All money received from selling raffle tickets is kept by each family. Generally, there are 3 maybe 4 different cheerleading squads for the season. This depends on the number of participants registered. The squads are usually based on age. Football games are usually played on Saturday, but there can be some Sunday games based on the teams we might be playing. Half of our football games will be at home and the others will be away - so that does involve some traveling to surrounding communities. Send an email to info@palosstarsfootball.com with any questions. Thursday, September 8 BAKE SALE All cheer parents It is time again for the traditional Stars Cheerleader's Bake Sale. We have a bake sale at each home football game as an opportunity for the girls to raise funds that will go toward competition this year. This is the only way cheerleaders raise money that will go toward competition this year. Each girl is responsible for one dozen baked goods such as cupcakes, brownies or cookies. Please wrap items individually if possible. Please have the baked goods at the field before the first game of your team's assigned day (by 2:30pm unless otherwise noted.) Let's make the bake sale a huge success. Thank you for your cooperation Vanessa BAKE SALE LIST September 10, 2011 Super Pee Wee Cheerleaders
