*** IMPORTANT CHANGE*** DUE TO A CHANGE IN THE SOUTHWEST MIDGET FOOTBALL LEAGUE RULES THIS YEAR, EACH YOUTH FOOTBALL ORGANIZATION MUST SUMBIT THEIR PLAYER ROSTERS BY APRIL 1, 2013. WHILE WE HAD A GREAT TURN OUT AT WINTER REGISTRATION THERE ARE STILL MANY NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS THAT HAVE NOT REGISTERED TO DATE. ANY PERSON MUST SIGN UP BEFORE 4/1/13.
FAMILIES CAN NO LONGER WAIT UNTIL JUNE OR JULY TO REGISTER. REGISTRATION FEE WILL STILL BE $160 PER PLAYER. Registration will be held at the Palos Stars Football field in the Johnson Center. The field (where all practices and home games take place) is located at 114th Place and Southwest Highway in Palos Hills. The field is located directly across from the Palos Heights Metra Station.
At registration time, families will only need to pay a non-refundable deposit of $50, however if you prefer to pay more or the balance in full it will be kindly accepted. Remainder of fees due in July 2013 during equipment pickup.
NEW FOOTBALL PLAYERS: Please bring a copy of your BIRTH CERTIFICATE as required by the SWMFL when you register. Returning players we will have your birth certificates already on file.

HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE DURING THIS LAST REGISTRATION! ************************************* It is not early to start thinking about playing football or cheering for the 2013 season. Winter Registration will be taking place on Saturday, 1/26/13 and Saturday, 2/2/13 from 10am - 2pm at the Palos Stars football field in the Johnson Center. The only payment that is required at this time is a non-refundable deposit of $50 per child. The remainder will be payable in July 2013 during equipment pickup. We encourage everyone to register at this time so that we have a good count of participants for equipment purposes. If unable to attend either of the Winter registration dates, families can print off the 2013 registration from available on the website, complete and include the required non-refundable deposit and mail to the address in the lower left hand corner of the website. Please be aware that registration rates will be $160 (early discount rate) through 2/28/13. Registrations received after 3/1/13 will have a registration rate of $185. So register early and save. OUR MISSION The Stars' Home field and practice site is located at the George Cuevas Park at 114th Place and Southwest Highway in Palos Hills. (Located directly across from the Metra Train Station in Palos Heights.)
Palos Stars Boundaries - Our program serves the following communities: Palos Heights, Palos Hills, Palos Park, Orland Park north of 135th Street, Chicago Ridge, Oak Lawn, Bridgeview, Alsip, Worth, Hickory Hills, Justice, Summit, Willow Springs and Chicago. Any questions on boundaries please call. Fees are the same for both football players and cheerleaders. The registration fee is $160.00 per child through 2/28/2013. There is also a $125.00 raffle ticket book which each family is required to sell. Familes can pay in full when registering or just pay a $50.00 non-refundable deposit per child. All balances are due at time of equipment pickup in late July. Starting 3/1/13 the registration fee will be $185.00. We also ask that families supply a separate work committment deposit check of $75.00 for the season. If all work committment obligations are fulfilled (6 hours per family) by the end of the season, the money will be returned.
We offer a free conditioning camp (optional) during the month of July on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 - 8 PM. The first day of training camp is July 2, 2013. This provides players an opportunity to learn fundamentals, refine skills and begin conditioning for the 2013 football season. Also, you have a chance to meet the coaches and other players.
