Pacific Coast Basketball Academy: Welcome

 The Pacific Coast Basketball Academy is happy to introduce its new fundamentals clinic series.  The concept of the PCBA is to hold comprehensive basketball clinics that maximize the development of athletes of all ability levels. Our clinics will stress ball-handling, shooting techniques, defensive footwork, conditioning, game situations and a stronger mental approach to the game.  PCBA clinics are taught by coaches who will help improve an athlete’s physical ability as well as their confidence and focus. Our clinics will be set up for both boys and girls from the 2^nd through12th grades of all abilities ranging from beginner to those with advanced skill levels. During certain times of the year we will offer advanced clinics geared for High School players.  PCBA instructors are available for private lessons.  Contact us for more details.

This Sunday, June 14 will kick off the PCBA Summer Clinics. Each camper should bring a basketball and come ready to work hard.  Make sure the ball has a name on it.  This Sunday South Pasadena High School will be hosting a graduation event.  Please be advised that parking may be hard to find.  Please plan accordingly.  The clinic will start on time.  

The early registration discount period for the PCBA summer clinics ends 6/1/09.  All packets postmarked by the 6/1/09 deadline qualify for the discount.  

The PCBA is also offering a $25.00 discount for those who particiapted in this years Tiger Tournament.  To qualify for this discount you must pre-register by mail and your registration packet must be recieved by 6/12/09.

The Pacific Coast Basketball Academy is happy to release the dates for our summer clinics.  The summer clinic series will run on Sunday evenings in June and July.  The clinics will be led by coach Rich Kitagawa.  Coach Kitagawa has been coaching for over 25 years and has had a considerable amount of experience running camps and working with top athletes.  Each group is not only set up for each athlete to improve on the court but to also have a better understanding of the game.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

 $175.00 for seven weeks
 $150.00 if fees are paid by June 1, 2009
