PTYF, PTYFC, PERRY TOWNSHIP YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING: PTYFC Rules

Major revisions:

1. Ball carrier weights were increased by 5lbs to align behind other leagues in the area.

2. Removed the double striper from the league. Over ball carrying weight players will all have one stripe.

3. Stripers can be in the back field as a lead blocker, but can not carry the ball or receive fake handoffs.

4. Removed non-rule related text as necessary.

5. Added reference to following a regimented play book.

6. All divisions will run the same defense, but the 5/6 division can run their own offense until next year.

7. Please understand that the league is making major changes with our fundamental approach. We need all of our coaches to provide feedback positive and negative as you feel necessary. In the event that a rule change is necessary we will not wait until the end of the year to make changes that the board feels is for the better. It is our main goal to provide an environment that promotes fundamentals as well as addresses the safety of our players.
