Cruizin' Clarion VIII

WHEN: FRIDAY, August 21st and SATURDAY, August 22nd 2000
WHERE: Clarion, PA @ Exit 62 off of PA Interstate 80
The preferred hotel for this event is the Super 8 Motel located in Clarion. We have reserved a block of 50 rooms at a starting rate of $65.00 per night. There is a Two night minimum stay . Due to cancellations last year A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required upon making the reservation.
The Super 8 Motel will be the site for some of the events that are scheduled for the weekend. For reservations, please call 814-226-4550. Reservations must be made with Cindy or Marie.
The activities will begin with a meet and greet on Friday at the Super 8 Motel. The pool will be open so bring your swim gear. There will be a gas grill for anyone wishing to cook out. Race and Street will provide Hotdogs, buns, condiments, paper plates & napkins. . Bring your favorite dish, dip or chips and come join the party. We will also have a DJ at the hotel Friday night.
Saturday we will all head over to Clarion Park for the Show & Shine. Yes, We are going back to Clarion Park. There will be NO car classifications. All cars are considered equal at Cruizin Clarion. There will be TOP 20 trophies awarded. There will be one voting ticket in each goodie bag. The top twenty cars win equal trophies. There will be food vendors set up at the park . They will be selling Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, French Fries, Pop, water etc.
Race and Street will be hosting this event. As many of you already know, Race and Street is one of the premier PT Cruiser aftermarket parts suppliers. We will be donating lots of PT goodies for door prizes, etc. We will be providing the opportunity for you to have your parts installed right at the show throughout the weekend. Our installers will be ready!! We will be accepting pre-orders for our show so be sure to get your lists ready! This will be our main show to offer you installations this year. Due to insurance purposes and traveling expenses this service is getting hard to offer at a show. Please take advantage of it at Cruizin Clarion.
Entry fee is $25.00. The $25.00 will get you a Cruizin Clarion t-shirt , a guaranteed door prize and raffle tickets.

The Sequoia PT Cruiser Club of Visalia California are proud to be holding their Fourth Annual PT Cruiser Roundup at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino for the Navy/Marine Corps Relief and Marjaree Mason Center.
These organizations are a nonprofit charitable organization to provide financial, educational and other assistance to the Navy and Marine Corp, family members, survivors and support to other branches of the military when needed. They help with funeral expenses, emergency transportation, disaster relief and unforeseen family emergencies just to name a few. It's time for the PT community to show our support for those who support us!!
Registration will be $25.00. Registration must be in by 9-23-09. Last day of Post Stamped Registration is Sept 23rd, NO EXCEPTIONS!! Pre-Registration will include entry into the car show, Dash Plaque and Goodie Bag. $35 after Sept. 23rd. T-shirts $15 ($17 for 2X or 3X) Awards Breakfast $10.00 per person.

"Return To The Beach" is one of the nation's longest running annual PT Cruiser events and it happens again, for the tenth year. Each year, the previous year's number of PT Cruiser's in attendance is exceeded. For the 2009 event, we will have a limit of 200 PT's at the beach. Let's blow Myrtle Beach away in 2009. Registration is now open.
The combined efforts of many PT enthusiasts have helped this event contribute thousands of dollars over the years to Multiple Sclerosis.

For the Early Birds that arrive prior to October 23, 2009 there will be short cruises and things planned to explore the scenic roads around the area.
For those returning to the Lincoln County and wanting to see things that they briefly saw before, there will be plenty of spare time this year!
Registration and a Meet & Greet will be on the 23rd from 2 PM- 8 PM in the hotel conference room, with some hor' dervies and some soft drinks. Note: it's BYOL. Everyone will be on their own for dinner, but there are lots of places VERY close by.
WE WILL HAVE A SHOW AND GLOW!!...depending on the weather, it will be Friday evening at dark, in the Hotel Ruidoso parking lot!! If something causes it to be moved to Saturday night, we'll resort to doing it then. Bring your lights and let's make Ruidoso GLOW!! I'm donating a nice trophy for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The hotel is VERY near shops and places to walk to this year, so bring those sneakers!
Saturday will be a Poker Walk, through the small & wonderful village of Cloudcroft, NM! Cut and paste Cloudcroft
Cloudcroft holds a rich history of lumber and the days when getting to 9000' above sea level wasnt easy. The Cloudcroft Museum tells stories of old and displays relics from the area. Local restaurants are good and close! Shop the old part of Cloudcroft and the newer parts of Burro Street. The people of Cloudcroft will remember we Cruisers from the past years, so wave and smile because they will know us!
Sunday morning there will be an Awards and Raffle Ceremony that will end before noon.
A 2 1/2 hour cruise to Carlsbad on Sunday after the Awards is planned for those staying in NM! Carlsbad Caverns & the Living Desert State Park are fun and VERY close!
The charity will again be Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship Center of Wylie, TX!

The Las Vegas Cruisin' Association, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization committed to reliving the best of the good ol' days in a safe, sane, sensible and responsible manner. The organization intends to bring back the good ol' memories and atmosphere of the 50's, 60's and 70's.
Membership is Open to Anyone interested in the automobile and would like to meet others with similar interests. The $15 annual Membership / Donation includes a Windshield Decal, Dash Plaque and a Monthly Newsletter that provides information on upcoming Automotive Events, Cruises, Car Shows, Swap Meets and Special Interest Events, in and around the Las Vegas area.
