We are the WAVERUNNERS, a highly skilled Under 17 Girls Soccer team and member of the PARKVILLE SOCCER CLUB (PSC).

Our Head Coach is Missy Cavender who has been our assistant for the past few years. Her playing experience has been at the youth club level and college during her time. We are also trained by Reza Kaliush, former head coach - now assistant, who has coached and trained various teams in PA and MD during the past 16 years. Our talented players are joining the team from different parts of the Baltimore area. The team will compete in College Showcases this upcoming year and will play in the WAGS league this Spring 2009 season. We do train and compete year round. We are always looking for players with athletic ability and passion for the beautiful sport of soccer. Come and see any of our practices or games and enjoy meeting the future college players.

Try-outs for the 2009/2010 season will be conducted on Monday June 22nd, Tuesday June 23rd & Thursday June 25 at St. James Academy located on 3100 Monkton Road in Monkton, MD. The start times for every night will be at 6 p.m. and run till about 8 p.m.. Date of birth should be after 8/1/1990 (if we do move up to U19) or 8/1/1991 (if we just move up to U18). Tuesday AND Thursday tryout date has been canceled!!

We will be "sitting out" the Fall 2009 season to allow the girls to play for their high school teams and possibly doing 1 or 2 tournaments (College Showcases) during the fall season along with a few practices. Winter season we will be practicing one night a week indoors and play in an indoor league. Spring season we will most likely play in the WAGS league (hopefully should be in the U19 division 2) along with pre-season and in-season Showcase tournaments - and State Cup. The details for our course of action for next year are still being decided.

The Waverunners would like to say goodbye, thank you and best of luck to the graduating seniors as they move on to college life. The remaining team members will miss there sisters, the great times they have had together and the leadership they showed on this team.
