July 6, 2007: Pearl River, 7 - Suffern, 6 The 12's won their second game in as many nights on Friday, July 6, outlasting Suffern in a classic ballgame, 7-6, in what had been a 1-1 pitchers duel through 4 innings. Connor Madigan, who picked up the win in relief, hit a walk off double scoring Brendan Ryan to cap a 2 run rally in the bottom of the 6th inning to lead Pearl River to the win. Pitchers Jake Tedesco and Alex Fishberg of Suffern went stride for stride through 4 innings before Fishberg gave Suffern its first lead with a 2 run homerun in the 5th. Mike McKee relieved Tedesco in the 5th and was very effective getting out of a 2 on and nobody out jam to hold the score at 3-1. Madigan then belted a 2 run triple driving in Ryan and Matt McMorrow and scored on a throwing error to give Pearl River a 4-3 lead. Liam Flanagan then smoked a triple to rightcenter driving in Tedesco who had walked to give Pearl River a 5-3 lead. However, Suffern roared back to take a 6-5 lead in the 6th before Madigan's game winning hit.

Flanagan's first pitch in relief came with a man on first and was fielded by Brendan Ryan who stepped on first and fired to Connor Madigan to execute a force and tag double play. Ryan also contributed a second stellar play in the 6th with a head long dive down the first base line on a foul pop. Madigan got the boys in blue on the scoreboard in the top of the 4th with a long 2 run homer to deep left. The boys tacked on another run in the 4th on a wild pitch after back to back singles by Matt McMorrow and Austin O'Toole. O'Toole then capped the scoring in the top of the 6th with a opposite field solo homerun to right centerfield.
