Saturday, May 10

Due to the rain and field conditions, all activities scheduled for Saturday 5/10 are cancelled!!!!

Due to field conditions all activities scheduled for Lion's Field today May 10th are cancelled. As a reminder, next weekend, May 17th is photo day. Please contact your manager or grade coordinator for additional information and the picture order form.

PYA 18th Annual Hall of Fame Dinner Dance on Friday, June 13th

PYA is Proud to Announce its 18th Annual Hall of Fame Dinner Dance on Friday, June 13th, at North Hempstead Country Club.

PYA's largest and most important fundraise of the year will kick off the festivities with its world-famous cocktail hour at 7:30 p.m. followed by the Awards Dinner at 8:30 p.m.

This year’s PYA Hall of Fame Honorees are Joe Gil, Tom McNamara and Todd Higgins.

As always, there will be lots of fun and surprises, including our souvenir journal, prize raffles, silent auction, and the super-popular 50/50 raffle. We will gratefully accept donations for all of these activities.

Reservations are only $125 per person. The official mailing will go out in April, but the event does sell out, so secure your places ASAP. You can reach PYA at 944-3077. Leave a message and we’ll be right back to you! Thanks in advance for your support of this great event. Remember, it’s for the kids.

PYA GIRLS SOFTBALL UPDATE

Attention PYA Girls Softball - All Grades

Developmental Softball Time and Field Locations: (This will be the time and location for the remainder of the season)

Kindergarten: Start at 3 PM Field #4 - Practice will end at 4 PM (Grade Coordinator - Coach Andy Mulchinski)

1st Grade: Start at 3 PM Field #3 - Practice will end at 4:15 PM (Grade Coordinator - Coach Gregg Weisburd)

2nd Grade - Start at 3 PM Field #5 - Practice will end at 4:15 PM (For 5/3 only please report to Field #3) (Grade Coordinator - Coach Jack Kramer)

Minor League Softball: Grades 3 and 4 – will meet at 4 PM on Fields 3 or 4 – Practice ends at 5:15 PM. More information will be provided by your team manager.

Major League Softball: Grades 5, 6 and 7 – will meet at 3 PM on Fields 1 or 2 – Practice ends at 4:30 PM. More information will be provided by your team manager.

Season will continue through and including June 28th the last day of the season. There are no games or practices during the Memorial Day weekend.

Photo Day will be May 17th and the Mother Daughter Games will be held on June 21st. Please see your manager or coordinator for the photo day application.
