NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
GOOD EVENING NEIGHBORS, This letter is to inform you that your neighborhood has been invaded by THE ESQUIRES FOOTBALL TEAM!
The Esquires is a new football organization in our community.
Our mission is to Utilize and Organize a structured athletic organization that will enlighten and cultivate the mental development of respectable individuals. We will establish a foundation in : Christianity, Integrity, Etiquette, Responsibility, Self-Control, Decision Making, Leadership, Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Goal Setting, and Perseverance.
We are asking the citizens of our community for assistance in the following areas:
. Kids between the ages of 7-13 interested in playing tackle football or cheerleading.
. Any new or used Football equipment.
. Positive individuals to volunteer with our mentoring program.
. Volunteer teachers to help assist our students with our after school Tutorial program.
Most importantly we are in great need of sponsorships and donations to help our program due to our non-profit status. We are going to house our programs at The Mayfair Park Gym located at 620 Flora Lane. Thats Right We Have A Park In Mayfair! We will also offer Football, Boys and Girls Scouts, Golf, and Basketball.
We had our Inaugural Sign-Up Bash Saturday June 30, 2007. We had a great time regardless of the inclement weather, thanks to all that attended. The kids were entertained with a space walk, football throw, touch football, and BBQ.
The Esquires will host Football Try-Outs Saturday ,July 21st 8:00 a.m. - 12:00p.m. at Mayfair Park. Parents we ask that the kids wear light color clothing; t-shirts, athletic shorts and cleats. No jean shorts, cell phones or collard shirts. Please allow your child to bring a hand or face towel. We will hydrate and feed the kids. There will be a Riddell Represenative there fitting the kids with proper equipment. Your child will also need to bring an original birth certificate ( It will be returned at the end of the day). You can get one from the Health Unit.
We will have a free cheerleading camp on Saturday August 4 @ Mayfair Park. Girls ages 5-12 interested in participating please attend. Registration will begin @ 8:30am. Camp will start promptly @ 9:00am and will end @ 12:00pm. Please wear cotton or jersey type shorts. T-Shirts, Tennis Shoes, no jewelry, cell phones, flip flops, skirts or skorts.
