The Pride of the Carolinas is a 16 year-old, non-profit organization, whose purpose is to improve the quality of the lives of young people. The organization is totally committed to two main objectives. The first objective is to provide a program where young people can develop and/or improve their athletic skills, while building positive attitudes and high self-concepts with personal pride and a competitive spirit that is tempered by good sportsmanship.

The second objective is to open doors of academic opportunities for young people by preparing them to earn athletic scholarships to institutions of higher learning. By providing SAT/ACT Prep courses and tutors we solidify their academics.  Through practice sessions which focus on the fundamentals of the game, tournaments which provide socialization and competition, as well as exposure to the scouts from top colleges and universities, the P.O.C. Athletic Club intends to meet its objectives for every young participant who possesses the desire, the determination, and the co-operative attitude to take advantage of its program.
 


Over the past 13 years we have had more than 165 young ladies play in our program and move on to the college ranks.

Not trophies ... Not personal accolades ... We concentrate on building complete students athletes that any college would be proud to add to their ranks.
