The Pelham/Helena Girls Basketball league is comprised of girls in 3rd - 6th grades from Pelham and Helena, Alabama. We have 2 divisions: 3rd & 4th grades play together and 5th & 6th grades play together.

Registration for the 2011-2012 season will be held at Riverchase Middle School on Sunday, October 23rd:
1:00-3:00 for 3rd & 4th Grades
3:00-5:00 for 5th & 6th Grades
Bring the attached Registration Form with you to speed up the registration process!
Make up Registration will be held on Tuesday, October 25th from 7pm - 7:30pm at RMS.
Practices will begin the first week of November and will be held at Valley Intermediate School or Riverchase Middle School.
All games will be played at Riverchase Middle School gym.
Cost is $100 for the first child and $85 for each additional child.

Do you need to have any previous playing experience?
No. The girls will be taught everything they need to know to play the game.
My daughter is very petite for her age. Will this be a problem?
The size of the child doesn't matter. She just needs the desire to learn and play the game!
Why offer girls basketball?
Young girls will have the opportunity to learn the strategy and physical skills needed to play basketball. We hope to create interest in the sport and build the skills needed by middle and high school teams in the future.
