Parma Hockey at Progessive Field!
![]() |
A special thank you to the Cleveland Indians and Columbus Blue Jackets for their hospitality on Sunday, September 6th!
Through our relationship with the Cleveland Indians this year -- they gave 10 tickets and meet & greet passes to award to a handful of randomly chosen PHA families. Our lucky winners were given great seats and the opportunity to meet Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender, Steve Mason. Mason was in Cleveland to throw out the first pitch before the Indians/Twins game at Progressive Field. Hockey fans will note that Mason won the 2009 Calder Trophy as the league’s top rookie earlier this year, so it was a real treat for a group of our young PHA players to get the opportunity to meet Steve.
All PHA families were eligible; one winner was randomly chosen from each level (Bantam, Peewee, Squirt), plus 2 from our large Mite level.
In the photo: Connor Nagle from our Mite 3 team, Jeremy Gripp from our Peewee team, Ricky Mischak from our Bantam 2 team, Columbus Blue Jackets' Steve Mason and Niko Negron from our Mite 1 team (not shown Anthony Monteleone).
Thanks again to the Cleveland Indians and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

2009-2010 USAHockey Registration
Beginning May 1, 2009, all players and coaches must register with USA Hockey. You must use their on-line registration at this link: USAHockey.com. There is a small fee associated with this registration; and it is a USA Hockey mandate going forward. Parma Hockey can no longer do this for it's member.
A step-by-step guide on how to register players and coaches is available for download here.
You'll need to provide the registration or a confirmation sheet at try-outs. We must have this sheet to scan the bar code that will be provided on it. The USAH fee involved does not change the initial deposit needed to take our ice. You may contact Michelle Arthur via e-mail or phone for further information.
